T-Shock Facial

Cryo Facials improves the general condition of the skin by increasing oxygen and nutrient supply to the skin. Frequent cryo facials tightens the skin and prevents wrinkles.

During cryofacial treatments the skin vessels and capillaries undergo a period of vasoconstriction (constriction of blood vessels) followed by vasodilation (dilation of blood vessels) upon finishing the session.

Service
CloudGlow Facial

The CloudGlow Facial includes a T-Shock Facial + nutrient packed HydroJelly Mask

Each mask is infused with electrolytes derived from algae that benefit your skin by helping achieve a natural moisture balance, resulting in healthy, hydrated, and supple looking skin. HydroJelly masks have incredible soothing and calming effects – the perfect way to end a Cryo T-Shock Facial.

Service
T-Shock Toning

Cryo T-Shock Toning Treatments applies applies both hot and cold temperatures to shock skin tissue into stimulating collagen and elastin. This action of hot and cold creates a T-Shock (Thermal Shock).

The T-Shock causes a significant temperature deviation which hyper-stimulates skin tissue to produce collagen and elastin deep below the skin’s surface where additional tightening and toning to the skin occurs. The application of heat immediately improves blood and lymphatic flow in the treated area.

T-Shock Toning Treatments are perfect to tighten loose, saggy skin and redefine muscles.

Service
T-Shock Fat Sculpting

The T-Shock Fat Sculpting Treatment applies both hot and cold temperatures. The heat stimulates fat cells and the cold uses cryolipolysis to cause the fat cells to crystallize and stimulate apoptosis (natural fat cell death).

When the fat cells die off, immune system cells that control the inflammation response (called ‘cytokines’) eat up the fat cells. Now, this doesn’t exactly happen overnight. In fact, it can take a couple weeks to notice the layer of fat shrinking away.

Service
Cellulite Treatment

The Cellulite Treatment is a combination of fat reduction with tissue and skin and tissue rejuvenation to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Fat reduction is accomplished through cryolipolysis; tissue and skin stimulation strengthens, oxygenates and improves the blood and lymph flow in the skin and fat to reduce cellulite.

The Cellulite Treatment provides a 1-2 punch to cellulite by addressing the 2 underlying causes of cellulite: fat and weakened skin.

Service
Pain Management

The T-Shock manages pain by utilizing a thermal shock treatment that alternates between heat and cold in varying times and frequency. Alternating between heat and cold increases oxygen and microcirculation to the treated area to reduce inflammation, decrease nerve transmission of pain fibres, ultimately reduce the pain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cryo T-Shock safe and does it hurt?

Yes, it is safe. Our Cryo Technician is trained in safety and protocol to ensure that your skin never gets damaged. The key to safety with any aesthetic treatment is training. The handpiece is constantly moving on your skin and we monitor your skin temperature to ensure that your skin never gets too cold.

The treatment is non-invasive, painless, no downtime. Many of our clients describe it as rather pleasant.

How frequently can I come in for treatments?

T-Shock Facial: 1 or 2x a week | You can also come in before a big event to get that perfect glowing skin.

T-Shock Toning/Tissue Stimulation: Twice a week

T-Shock Sculpting: Once every 10-14 days | During T-Shock Fat Sculpting treatments, a great deal of fat cell contents (lipids) are released into the bloodstream and lymphatic system. It is important to not overload these systems. Sculpting treatments should not occur more than once every 10-14  days  to ensure detoxification systems are not overwhelmed.

Cellulite Treatment: Once a week | Cellulite reduction is working on both fat reduction and the improvement in the appearance of cellulite so the demands on the detoxification system are not as great.

Pain Management: As many times as you like.

What should i do after my treatment?

1) Keep hydrated over the next 72 hours to help flush out the destroyed fat cells. Increase hydration should occur for at least 4 weeks past, especially for Fat Sculpting & Cellulite treatments.

2) Avoid refined carbohydrates and sugar or anything that converts to insulin 2-4 hours after your treatments.  For long-term maintenance, make sure you also eat healthy and exercise, as fat cells can come back.

3) For T-Shock Facials, apply your favorite moisturizer and eye cream to maintain hydration for your skin.

4) After your body treatment, a vibration plate is available to maximize the lymphatic drainage & fat loss.

After every treatment, you are free to use the vibration therapy plate here at Cloud9Cryo to maximize lymphatic drainage, fat loss, and muscle-building benefits from Cryo T Shock. Plus, the vibration plate assists in the production of hormones that repair and revitalize cells. It also helps improve blood circulation and promotes drainage of the lymph nodes. This is especially essential if you’re coming in to see me for Cellulite Reduction or Fat Sculpting.
